Goal # 1: Raising Student Aspirations

Our goals are to meet the interests of every student, to personalize learning based on individual needs and skills, and to enable all students to pursue their education beyond the high school level.

In School Year 2003-2004, we plan to address this goal by:

• providing funding for ASVAB testing to determine skills and interests

• investigating and implement student interest surveys

• investigating adjunct faculty position - offer college-level course

• scheduling post-secondary visits for all students

• providing funding for college entrance exams

• researching and developing "Personal Learning Plan" models

• investigating "Honors Challenge"
